Have owned this fridge for about a year now and so far it has been excellent. We love counter depth size. It fits great in our galley style kitchen but the interior space is still excellent The freezer is bigger than most which is great because we do a lot of meal prep so need to be able to store weeks worth of meals in the freezer. Also love that it beeps if you accidentally leave the door open. Would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone that wants a space saving option without losing interior space

The cooling of the fridge stops - not the freezer just the fridge. Each time we have received excellent service but it has been difficult to empty the fridge each time and keep things cold in coolers

Ive never owned any LG products before and I was a little hesitant to purchase one. At Home Depot Marty Vaz was very helpful and explained everything I needed to know. I am so glad I bought it. This LG is in the 21st century along with me. Ive upgraded to a beautiful appliance. It was already programed for the freezer and refrigerator I didnt have to anything. The water was hooked up perfectly. No leeks.

We have now had this product for 1.5 years and it is excellent. Really like the space this fridge has and ability to handle any size item we put in there. It has performed great keeping consistent temperature in both fridge and freezer. It is very quiet even the ice maker is fairly quiet. The filtration must work well as really minimal food smell is noticed when opening the doors. We had always had side by side before but so glad we got this model.

The reviews seem great. Just dont buy it from LG - Im begging you. Ive wasted so many hours on the phone with LG and their Delivery Carrier and it doesnt make a difference. I have a tale of two ordering processes: Ordering from LG: - I ordered a fridge on July 17th for delivery by LG on July 26th. - It finally attempted delivery almost 2 weeks LATE on August 6th. - Nevermind me not having a fridge in my new house for 2 weeks. Thats not my primary issue if you can believe it. - The issue came after I REJECTED the delivery which happened because the doors open wider than the fridge and it wouldnt fit in my space... no hidden hinges on this MAX model.. - The Delivery Carrier Hub Group Final Mile was great to work with and noted they would handle marking it as Rejected/Return Needed with LG. Great - It took 3 days for LG to register the Return to kickstart the process. Not terrible. - Unfortunately its now August 27th 21 days after I rejected the fridge and I still dont have my refund. Why you ask? Because LG requires the refrigerator to be returned to their warehouse not their Delivery Partners warehouse. You read that right. I never took possession of the fridge and LG knows its been sitting in their Partners warehouse for 21 days now. LG is supposed to collect returns from the Delivery Partners Return Bin once a week and process them for refunds. For some reason that isnt happening. Who is paying for that problem? The Customer. Why should I be LGs bank while they continue to mismanage their own internal inventory and return process? Its simply unacceptable. Instead I got to pay off that $2001.54 refrigerator and the replacement I ordered from Lowes because LG couldnt figure out how to refund my money in a timely fashion. Moral of the story - Dont buy from LG. Order from Lowes. I ordered a different fridge from Lowes on August 7th and they delivered and installed it THE NEXT DAY. Meanwhile Ive loaned LG my hard-earned money for 40 days now for a fridge I never took possession of.

I bought this refrigerator in July of this year and it was the worst purchase I ever made. The freezer didnt work. Neither the store we purchased from or LG could provide a service call. I filled out information for a replacement but never heard back from anyone about delivery. Dont send texts or emails. LG will not respond. Getting to a live agent takes work and patience. After several more phone calls I was told that the model I bought was out of stock. I would not have known this if I hadnt called repeatedly. LG has now offered a refund which I have submitted the information for again. I am not holding my breath that the refund will come without more phone calls.

I purchased two of these identical refrigerators. My experience with LG has not been good and I would not recommend purchasing one. 1 Refrigerator worked and 1 failed after only 2 days. I first tried myself to reset the refrigerator but that failed. Then I called the warranty/support line and was able to schedule a semi local repair tech to come. After scheduling an appointment they never showed up nor did they call. Then we had multiple power outages and it started working. Then the same refrigerator failed again. All I get is text messages from LG and they will not call me. I wanted on site support but not the previous repair rep who failed to show up....There are none. After another power outage it started working again. So now I have 1 refrigerator working and 1 that periodically works and no LG support.

Huge space requires space for side vent

I absolutely love the space inside this fridge. The water spout being inside saves a lot of door space. The shelves are sturdy. The drawers are versatile. The freezer feels huge even with the ice bucket. I wish wed known that there was a vent on the side of the fridge in addition to the back. Our fridge space is tight and the lack of air circulation has caused it to overheat and shut down twice this summer. It takes a day or two to turn back on so that makes for a lot of melted freezer items. Also it takes 4 days to schedule a repair person to come when you need help which is a huge pain. Super frustrating.

at 5 months ice maker starting making a solid block of ice. Called and scheduled repair wife took off work to stay home 8-5 tech came and ordered parts 2nd trip and I stayed home tech said was fixed never made any ice 3rd time hired baby sitter to stay 8-5 for repair tech looked at and said he couldnt reach LG to order parts suggested I call LG and start a new repair. LG said couldnt start a new repair until I called the repair co. and had them close out previous RO Sears repair said the order was complete due to tech unable to find model #...it was on his repair order and on a very large sticker inside the door. on the 3rd trip he left the water turned off to the house and didnt tell anyone . Called out plumber to find out why we didnt have water etc.

Door Closing Problem

This is a French door fridge and a few days after installation saw the left door would not always shut. After some investigation I saw the door was not level so the pin that opens the flap between the doors was not engaging so the flap prevented the door from closing unless the right door was already open. Not sure if this poor design poor engineering or lack of quality control inspections but it makes me wary of what else will fail in the future. Questioning Long-Term Operation of my LG refrigera

I bought this a year ago and just after the 1-yr warranty date the refrigerator began to make knocking sounds2 sharp rapsabout once every hour. Fortunately I bought it at Costco which gave me another year of warranty. I called a technician who finally came at 5pm on a day when Id been promised a service window of 10am-2pm the refrigerator didnt make a knocking sound when he was there so he couldnt diagnose what might be causing the knocking. Im afraid of what the knocking may mean down the road

Dont buy LG products

Bought a brand new park model camper that had new LG appliances installed in it..used it for 4 months the first year and 5 months the second year plugged the camper in the 3rd year and after about 1 month the fridge quit working.... they said by diagnosis the compressor was bad but without a itemized receipt for the fridge I was basically out of luck...by the way the customer service sucks..

Poor experience all around

Terrible product and I experienced terrible customer service that do not stand behind their product I would not recommend buying this fridge and I will not be buying from LG anymore. Ive had issues with this ice maker ever since I purchased the fridge. The ice tastes awful and there is floating particles in my glass every time when the ice melts. Customer service tried to tell me its because of my hard water and then suggest to buy and install an in-line water filter. But the fridge water and my tap water doesnt have this issue. I even went ahead and got an in-line water filter even replaces the LG water filter inside the fridge. The water dispenser is fine but the ice maker still produces the same awful tasting ice with floating particles. Customer service will not do anything about it now because it has been passed the 1 year pathetic warranty. Terrible experience and not worth your money time and energy trust me.

Questionable temp

It didnt seem like the milk was cold enough. We put temp to 37 but gauge I bought showed 40 degrees and above. Service man came and said to move things around for better air flow.

The service person called before coming to let us now when he would be here. He was on time courteous and competent. He solved the issue to our satisfaction. Could not have been a better service experience. A true exception to what we hear about in these times. Definitely a good experience.

Fridge Great Parts??????

I love my fridge but the only problem is I cant purchase a Fresh Air Filter. It appears that LG replaced it with a new stile and after talking for several hours to customer service I got nowhere. So it appears that these fridges are still selling in stores and not letting people know they cant replace this filter.

Its ironic that I would receive your request for a review. Our granddaughter put in a repair request a few weeks ago for a repairman to fix our broken ice maker an appointment was set for someone to come between 7 am and 4 pm - no one showed up or called. We are still waiting for a call to schedule. Its quite disappointing that the ice maker would break after only a year of use. Could you please have your representative contact me asap.

The refrigerator and freezer work great. The ice maker is very slow making ice. Takes about a week for the ice container to get filled.
